I recently returned from my vacation to the Bay Islands where I discovered my new life's passion...
SCUBA DIVING!!!

Now I need to figure out how I can fulfil this passion on a regular basis while I still keep my career here in Toronto... And regularly diving in Lake Ontario isn't really an option!

... Because I want to see more cool things like these... Stay tuned to see how I figure out this dilemma...

If you are in my bathroom, chances are, this is what you'll see.
That's Kylie waiting for her favourite treat to flow out of the magic sliver spout.

When that doesn't happen, she asks you to make it happen for her. And hopefully you'll comply with her request!
She is a funny little creature that brings laughter and joy to my life, everyday.

Her sister is pretty cute too... but Nala is much more serious by nature, choosing very carefully when to give affection.

Not sure how anyone can say they don't love animals... they are the best!

Wow.
So today is Earth Day and I can't help but feel helpless and overwhelmed by the state of our world, and the rate at which humans seem content on destroying it.

This movie is one of the latest things I've seen to cause me to feel this way:

But it's certainly not the first and sadly it won't be the last either.

I just don't understand why money always seems to win out over clear cut, right and wrong.
Why people, as a mass choose to look the other way when serious issues so blatantly need to be addressed.

I just hope I get to see most, or at lest some of these issues addressed and obliterated in my lifetime...

All of these address very different issues, but there is one common tie... That we have the power to change all these atrocities...we just need to try.

The First Post

So the countdown has officially begun today to my up-coming trip to The Bay Islands, Honduras!!!

I have been blessed with the opportunity to take a 14 - 29 day vacation every year for the past 4 years. This year I am going to try to step that up to 2 vacations a year, at least.

Last year at this time I was travelling around Thailand with these lovely ladies and a few more friends.

We spent 3 weeks going from Bangkok to Koh Lanta to Koh Pi Pi to Koh Phangan to Koh Tao and then back to Bangkok. The scenery was stunning. Everywhere you looked there was lush greenery, bright blue skies, turquoise waters, and smiling beautiful people.

The beaches where just full enough, and the water was clam and inviting.

And at night the madness began...

I can't wait for this year's adventure...
T-Minus 10 days = 8 hours to go!!!
